While teacher‐made transparencies for the overhead projector have become commonplace in the foreign language classroom, student‐made ones are less frequently found. A very efficient method for checking homework assignments employs student‐made transparencies of the assigned exercises as the working model in the classroom to be corrected or discussed as necessary. Procedures and suggestions are presented, as are advantages and disadvantages of the system.
