Foreign Language Exploration Competition Day encompasses a wide range of competitive activities for students of French, German, and Spanish. The students may choose from a list of seventeen contests and seven prepared displays. This extensive selection option enables the student to explore by participating in a myriad of events. Each contest or prepared display requires the student to call upon language skills learned in the classroom. Students are rewarded for the competition with certificates and ribbons. The school whose students win the most first place contests in each language is awarded a trophy. Detailed descriptions of how to organize the successful operation of a FLEC day follow.
