With many language teachers being responsible for several different levels of instruction and with many teachers teaching more than one language, the need for inexpensive, easy‐to‐develop supplementary materials is very real. Also needed are practical ideas to stimulate interest in writing the foreign language. This article describes the process for developing a creative writing folder, called the Picture Pack, which will be useful in meeting these needs. In addition to specific instructions for creating a Picture Pack, a sample Picture Pack is included.
