A bstract   An excellent means of engendering excitement about foreign language learning is through the use of Circles of Knowledge, a technique which offers opportunities for individualizing instruction, and which enables students to respond without fear of failure, with the cooperation of peers. Among its many advantages is its highly effective use for reinforcement and review. This article includes practical guidelines for utilizing, organizing, and implementing foreign language Circles of Knowledge.
