A bstract Using learning stations at the elementary and secondary levels can be one method to solve problems related to individual learning styles, wide ability ranges within a class, and enrollment. Vocabulary, grammar, conversation, listening, reading, and culture stations are explained in this article; categories of materials, manipulable materials, and equipment are described for each station. Sample projects for interdepartmental stations are suggested. Management concerns, including behavior, record keeping, and testing are discussed. Methods of evaluation other than tests are suggested. Finally, suggestions are made for using stations in a traditional program.
