Filmmaking can be an innovative means of involving a class of language students to utilize or to discover their talents within the framework and mission of learning a foreign language. This article discusses how filmmaking creatively involved the talents of students of two German classes. Motion picture production, as an energetic impetus toward creating and capturing varied student interest, is considered.
