Joy H. Dohr, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin‐Madison where she was also an Associate Dean. She presents, writes and consults on interior design education, the creative design process, design and civility, and color. Joy is a Past President and Fellow of IDEC and has served on boards of the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (formerly Foundation for Interior Design Education and Research) and the International Interior Design Association Foundation, among others. She is a recipient of numerous awards from her field and institution.
