Some educators and practitioners may find its discussion of research proposal writing and lb directory of potential funding sources to be of personal interest. And, it does provide a better than average overview of behavioral science methods for designers which may justify its use as supple mentary text. In general, however, the book lacks the organizational clarify and technical and theoretical substance necessary to anchor an introductory interior design research or programming course. Its content is a sometimes disjointed array of superficial introductions in some areas interwoven with inexplicably rich and detailed renews of other seemingly less significant content. Ultimately, the book will probably do little to diminish the next of expectation with which the next work on the subject is awaited.
