Summary From these two pilot studies, it appears that there is minimal effect of artificial lighting on human behavior, at least under the conditions and with the subjects in this investigation. It is possible that a longitudinal study may have shown some behavioral responses to varying lighting conditions. However, a methodology has now been developed f o rfurther work in investigating luminous environment and behavior relationships.
