A bstract — Reports of submerged primary teeth are numerous, but those of submerged permanent teeth, especially involving multiple quadrants, are uncommon. The aetiology of the condition though continuing to be unclear has been associated with ankylosis. A case is reported involving submerging first permanent molars in all quadrants.
