A bstract — the use of gold electroforms provides (1) a porcelain jacket crown and adaptable gold margin; (2) a matrix for porcelain inlays; (3) an adaptable margin for cast ceramic bonded to metal crowns or abutments. Further, by the application of electrodeposited tin to the gold, excellent bonding of porcelain occurs. This system can be used advantageously as a substrate for bonding porcelain to metals.
