A bstract — A study of the cephalometric points which represent the height and width of the face was undertaken in the city of Piracicaba on 576 boys and girls aged 6, 7, 11, and 15 years. Analysis of the data shows that the measurements increased progressively and proportionately with age and the importance of the cephalometric points in the determination of the vertical dimension in occlusion.
