A bstract — The records of fractured jaws suffered by 90 patients treated at the Darwin Dental Clinic shows that 52 per cent were aged 20–25 years and that fighting, motor vehicle accidents, sport and industrial accidents in descending order are the main causes. Fixation by wiring was used in 75 per cent of cases.
