Ornithogalum nallihanense sp. nov. (Hyacinthaceae) from northwest Anatolia, Turkey

A new species, Ornithogalum nallihanense Yıldırımlı & A. Doğru Koca, from northwest Turkey is described and illustrated. Diagnostic and morphological characteristics that distinguish the new species from the allied species Ornithogalum comosum L., O. fimbriatum Willd., O. pascheanum Speta and O. broteroi M. Laínz are presented. A description, distribution map, notes on ecology, proposed conservation status, taxonomic comments and an identification key to related Ornithogalum L. species are provided.
