Liparis angustioblonga P. H. Yang & X. H. Jin sp. nov. from Shaanxi, China, is described and illustrated. It is restricted to the Qinling Mountains at an elevation of 1060 m where it grows in deciduous broadleaf forest. Liparis angustioblonga is similar to L. pauliana but differs from it by having lateral sepals connate at base, lip rectangular–oblong, 14–15 mm long, 5–6 mm wide, with two lamellae forked divergent towards the margin.
