Tragia mitis is lectotypified and T. cinerea is neotypified. T. abortiva, T. ashiae, T. crenata, T. doryodes, T. mixta, T. negeliensis, T. triumfettoides and T. uncinata are described as new. The new combination Dalechampia pavoniifolia is made. Clutia lanceolata is extended to include African material and the new combination Clutia lanceolata ssp. robusta made.
