New taxa of Myrsinaceae from Thailand

Revision of the Myrsinaceae in Thailand has resulted in the recognition of 7 genera, including 102 species. Of these, 12 species and 2 varieties of Ardisia are described as new: A. atrovirens, A. confusa, A. ficiifolia, A. fletcherii, A. gracillima, A. ionantha, A. maehongsonia, A. palustris, A. paralleloneura, A. tetramera, A. tristis, A. uniflora, A. impressa var. grandidens, A. rigida var. laev'is , and 2 species of Maesa: M. argyrophylla, M. glomerata. Descriptions, illustrations and distributional data are given.
