The flora of interstitial euglenoid flagellates in the Rejsby Marsk area in the Danish Wadden Sea was studied from November 1980 to December 1981. Twenty eight species were found; 26 of these are heterotrophic forms. Five new species are described: Anisonema trepidum, Metanema sedatum, Notosolenus esulcis, N. rhombicus , and Pseudoperanema fusiforme. Apparently most species do not prefer any particular type of substrate. The number of species was only slightly influenced by the different seasons.
