20 strains of predaceous hyphomycetes were isolated. They were tested for the distribution of capture organs (sticky networks) on solid media after induction by nematodes. Heavy production is found near inoculum and behind the mycelial front. Areas of weaker inducibility occurring periodically are distributed all over the colonies. The implication of these results on the behaviour of predacious mycelia inside the soil are discussed.
