Summary Dialysis treatment monitoring is becoming a more common feature of recent dialysis machines, generally aimed at improving treatment tolerance and dialysis adequacy. In addition, measured parameters can give reliable information on the treatment in progress and could deliver a great help in checking whether the prescription is being delivered effectively.
