Abstract Even though great lipids experts have already brought their knowledge on the EVER stages, lipids as a whole are not really considered as they should, taking in consideration their important role in eye physiology and eye diseases. The aim of this simple and humble journey through lipids is to stimulate the interest of young investigators for the fascinating world of lipids, from the tear film to the brain.
