Summary OCT optical coherence tomography is a noninvasive imaging modality. Morphological and morphometric data can be obtain using this technique. Cross‐linking is a method commonly used in reducing the progression of keratoconus and severe infectious diseases of the cornea. OCT can be useful in qualification patients for cross‐linking, during surgery and in the management of patients after cross‐linking. Different OCT systems (time‐domain, spectral domain and swept source) will be presented on the basis of clinical examples.
