Macular hole surgery results are generally very good. The closing rate is almost 92%. Patient can gain significant vision. There is though a group of difficult cases. The very large, the myopic macular holes and the redo cases. Traditional and novel techniques will be proposed in order to get the optimal anatomical and functional result.
