. The method of repeated measures was applied to a group of 4 exotropes in order to test the hypothesis that irregularities in their day‐to‐day longitudinal horopter findings were caused by random horizontal vergence eye movements. Determining the mean of several sets of replications smoothed out the horopter. Horopters in exotropes appear to be very similar to those found in normal binocular subjects.
