. An independent assessment of red free fundus photographs and serial fundus fluorescein angiograms from 11 clinically healthy subjects and 5 diabetics was performed by 3 ophthalmologists twice with an interval of one month and showed no significant interobserver or intraobserver variation ( P < 0.10). Among 8 clinically healthy subjects, fundus fluorescein angiograms of both eyes disclosed a difference in number and distribution of the angiographic elements ( P < 0.05) between the two eyes in 6 subjects.
