Eales' disease, retinitis pigmentosa, retinal detachment, idiopathic central serous retinopathy, and juvenile hemorrhagic maculopathy have been studied for the association with HLA antigens. The results did not show any confirmed evidence that HLA would be involved in the susceptibility to any of these fundal lesions.
