The present paper reports a case of primary localized amyloid tumour of the orbit in a 68‐year‐old woman in whom myasthenia gravis had been diagnosed 33 years before. An amyloid tumour with this location is very rare, and up to the present time only 13 cases have been recorded in the literature. The reported orbital amyloid tumour revealed a considerable accumulation of activity at orbital scintigraphy with 99 Tc m and, compared with the conventional pseudotumours, a distinct rise in density at computed tomography after intravenous infusion of iodized contrast medium.
