Four cases of malignant choroidal melanoma have been treated with the antifibrinolytic agent tranexamic acid (Cyklocapron®). One patient treated for six months showed no progression in tumour growth. Three eyes have been enucleated, and the histological examination revealed that the tumours were surrounded by fibrin. No side‐effects of the treatment were observed.
