Injured eyes constitute a great part of the daily material of an ophthalmic pathology laboratory. The individual case seldom attracts much attention. An assembly of a large series of cases with analysis of the main clinical features and especially of the histopathological changes may, however, do so. The literature available appears to contain no survey of injuries from the patho-anatomical point of view, even though there are numerous descriptions of limited fields.
