After remarks by Knud Rasmussen, Hilja Teraskeli, Birger Malling, Ejler Holm, Herman Gronvall and H. U. Mder , Gunnar v. Bahr proposed that a committee composed of two members from each country, chosing from among their midst a chairman and secretary, be appointed to consider the question further, to study the practical possibilities of instituting such Scandinavian courses, elaborate plans for the instruction to be given and for its financing, designate teachers and, when the plans shall have been approved by the respective ophthalmologic societies, make the arrangements for the establishment of the courses. At the meeting Saturday the 28th, the proposal was discussed and adopted, and the following appointed to be members of the committee: from Denmark: Holger Ehlers and Carsten Edmund.
