Delegates representing more than 100 nations gathered in Rome, September 6 to 11, 1971 to attend the 15th Congress of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS). G. G. Duclos, a senior official of the Canadian Government and a member of the Executive Committee of the Institute of Public Administration of Canada, was an official delegate at the Congress. In the following report, he summarizes the objective of IIAS and gives general impressions of the triennial Congress.
