Rehabilitation of quadriplegic patients is a significant challenge to health care resources in this country. Many of these patients need to use mouthstick appliances to control their environments. To be sure that the mouthstick appliance is available to any patient in need of it, the technology and affordability must be improved. A method is described for construction of an inexpensive and physiologically sound appliance.
