Abstract Osteomas of the paranasal sinuses are common benign neoplasms that occur more frequently in the frontal and ethmoidal sinuses. Most of them are asymptomatic and appear in routine radiographic studies. We report a case of a large maxillary sinus osteoma that was discovered casually and underwent surgical excision. This attitude is required in selected cases such as symptomatic forms, large size, progressive growing or if implant rehabilitation is planned.
