Prosthodontic rehabilitation with maxillary implants can be delayed by the low density of available bone. We report the rehabilitation of maxillary edentulism with four implants, in which primary stability was enhanced by using a compression abutment prototype. Application of compression and tension to the peri‐implant bone improved resonance frequency values in all four implants at 7 days after the compression protocol.
