Hydrologic research by the Tennessee Valley Authority is coordinated by the Division of Water Control Planning, with the assistance of various specialized divisions. Since 1934 the Division of Forestry Development has participated in six hydrologic studies involving watersheds that were completely or partially forested. A brief description of these projects, along with some major results and implications are given.
