SUMMARY. The two people with whom I work and myself presented a description of our aims and methods to my own training organisation AGIP. The idea of submitting this to the British Journal of Psychotherapy sprang from this, as a means of expressing some of our hopes and fears to a wider audience. There are immense difficulties in working outside London, and this is an attempt to help others understand some of the problems. Interestingly, involvement with other organisations in London has led to the possibility of starting open workshops, and we see this as a great bonus not only for the area but also supporting us in a very positive way.
