Nineteen USGS GRSs were analyzed with a Dupont 903‐H Moisture Analyzer at 110°C and 1000°C to obtain H 2 O‐and H 2 O + , and by thermal neutron induced gamma‐ray spectrometry to obtain total H 2 O. The values are compared with the current literature and the two techniques evaluated. Except for QLO‐1 by coulometry, no significant differences were obtained when the results were compared to the the literature.
