— By concentration dependent fluorescence measurements, a quantitative study of the complex formation of fluorescent dyes with DNA is possible. The results are given for some amino‐acridines. In the most favourable case, there is one dye molecule per four nucleotides. The influence of heat denaturation is discussed.
