Summary: Cor pulmonale was diagnosed in a 4‐year‐old beef cow at pasture. Clinical and pathological evidence for the diagnosis included ventral oedema, respiratory distress, chronic interstitial pneumonia and cardiac failure. The cause of the pneumonia was not identified.
