The University grants four degrees in medicine. Of these, the M.B. and Ch.B. must be taken together. The following outlines of the regulations for graduation are in accordance with the New Medical Ordinance, which came into operation on 1st October, 1911, modified as regards preliminary education and registration by the new regulations which came into force on 1st January, 1923 :? * Before registration as a medical student every candidate shall produce evidence that he or she has attained the age of seventeen years. Further, every applicant shall be required to have passed an approved examination in general education, and, in addition thereto, an examination in Elementary Physics and Elementary Chemistry, conducted or recognised by one of the Licensing Bodies.
