A method for demonstrating metaphase chromosome spreads from the hepato‐pancreas tissue of marine shrimp is described. The chromosome numbers for Penaeus aztecus 2n=88, Penaeus setiferus 2n=90, and Penaeus duorarum 2n=88 are given.
