Subadult Procambarus clarkii, 50–60 mm total length, molt rapidly (13.1 ± 5.8 days, N = 115) at 26.7°± 1°. The premolt period (D) occupies 62% of the entire intermolt cycle. Molt may be delayed in either the intermolt period (C 4 ) or early premolt period (D 0 ) of the molt cycle.
