Wild‐caught turtles (Chelonia mydas) from the nesting beaches of Costa Rica, Surinam, Guyana, Ascension Island, and the turtle fishing grounds off the eastern coast of Nicaragua were successful in breeding under farm conditions. of 11,268 eggs laid, 4,770 normal turtles hatched.
