The rounding of o‐filters is introduced and this concept is used to construct an extremally disconnected compact Hausdorff reflection for a given extremally disconnected space. Some characterizations of such spaces have been obtained in terms of the rounding of o‐filters. Furthermore, relations between prime o‐filters, round o‐filters, ultra o‐filters, and skeletal maps have been established.
