The successful identification of the internal symmetry groups for the leptons and quarks can be verified by obtaining the correct values for a host of invariant quantities including the rest masses of the particles. It appears that three related discrete rotation groups are viable contenders for the three lepton families, one group for each family. The model predicts no more leptons to be discovered. An extension to the quarks predicts four quark families.
