Summary Isosexual pseudoprecocious puberty is an unusual pediatric gynecologic problem. By and far the most common form of sexual precocity in the female is constitutional precocious puberty. A thorough evaluation of the child who presents with signs of sexual precocity prior to age nine is essential. The treatment of the problem of isosexual pseudoprecocious puberty is dependent upon the etiology as defined by adequate study of the patient.
