Paul Miller, who teaches at Newcastle University, proposes a framework for thinking about the ethical management of human resources. He suggests a number of ‘deliverables’ which employees are entitled to expect from their employment and argues that these are unlikely to be found in organisations which do not have an appropriate fit between organisational strategy and the management of human resources.
