This study was conducted for searching the fauna, community structure and similarity alalysis of the benthic macroinvertebrate on Bohyeon Stream and Mugye Stream. The species were collected 4 times of 5 sites during March to October in 2010. The identified species were 91 species belong to 48 families, 16 orders, 7 classes, and 5 phyla. Insecta were collected with Ephemeroptera 26 species, Trichoptera 21 species, Diptera 14 species, Plecoptera 9 species, Coleoptera 4 species, Odonata 3 species, Hemiptera, Megaloptera 1 species and the non‐insecta were collected with Basommatophora 3 species, Mesogastropoda, Rhynchobdellida, 2 species, and Tricladida, Gordea, Archioligochaeta, Arhynchobdellidae, Isopoda 1 species respectively. In the results of community analysis, the hightest score of dominance index was 0.53 in St. 5, diversity index was 3.39 in St. 2, richness index 6.06 in St. 1, and evenness index was 0.62 in St. 2 respectively. In the functional feeding group, the Ephemeroptera and Trichoptera which belong to GC and P were the highest in all surveyed sites. In the result of the similarity analysis of each site, similarity index was 0.50 in site 1 and 2.
