Following the launch of the updated, enhanced, BSAVA Practice Standards Scheme in April (see BSAVA News, May 1998, pp 258–259), the BSAVA's Members' Services Committee has been busy putting the finishing touches to the new questionnaire and conducting a small pilot study to evaluate it within the practice situation. The questionnaire is published in full below. By way of an introduction, Freda Scott‐Park, chairman of Members' Services, describes the latest developments in the evolution of the ‘BSAVA Standard’ and explains what will be happening over the next few weeks.
