This report describes the presenting features, radiographic changes, biochemical alterations and clinical progress of two kittens, from separate litters, which were found to have a growth plate disturbance initially diagnosed and treated as vitamin D 3 ‐dependent rickets, but subsequently suspected to be a metaphyseal chondrodysplasia.
